Educator Resources

Educators are often on the front lines of combating bullying. Children with special needs are most often bullied at school - in the hallways, cafeteria, and on the bus. Unfortunately, it is often the teachers that encourage the bullying. They don’t want to deal with the challenges created by the kids that are different. They mistakenly think that if a child is ridiculed by their peers, they will change.

I was looking for resources to prevent my own daughter to became a bully… She’s a nice little girl. But last evening, she came back with a punisment “I don’t insult my school mate” ! I was disapointed.
We discussed about how a mate could became the everyday target, and how it could be painful.
She eased me about the ‘incident’. But I we need to be prepared, as a parent.
